Spring Academy:
Elevate your game and athleticism to new heights over the course of the Spring!
What you get:
- 4 group skills sessions per week: all sessions are engineered to build players' individual and team skills, confidence, and transfer directly to the game! Workouts are engaging, competitive, and all held in a high-intensity but fun environment. Plus, each Sunday, we will send out the skills we'll be sharpening in the coming week's sessions, so each athlete knows exactly what they'll be working on.
- 4 group strength & conditioning sessions per week: our training staff has planned out a cohesive three-month plan that will not only boost every athlete's explosiveness, vertical jump, and speed, but also the often-forgotten aspects such as fluidity, strength with contact, and resistance to injury.
- Private sessions: one evaluation session at the beginning of the Academy, plus three private sessions with one of our professional trainers to ensure that every athlete receives personal attention (only for players on the 3-month package).
- Recovery: recovery modalities such as cupping, sports massage, and more, plus injury consultation and pre-hab exercises to ensure every athlete remains healthy and feeling good throughout the Academy.
- Film review: before Friday sessions, our coaches will lead all athletes through film breakdowns designed to build general basketball IQ and an understanding of what they'll be working on in the session.
- Challenges: get a chance to compete against other athletes and win prizes for improving the most (see below).
Competitions:
Over the next three months, you'll be able to participate in our two progress challenges:
- The Spring Athleticism Challenge: within the first two weeks of the Academy, all athletes will be evaluated (think about a more detailed NBA Combine). Then, 6 weeks in, we'll retest and see who has improved the most!
- The Spring Skills Challenge: after the first 6 weeks, our staff will perform a deep analysis of each player's game, and then following week 12, will decide which DETAIL Member has improved their game the most in the month-and-a-half prior.
The winner of each competition receives a $200 Foot Locker gift card and the next month of training completely free.
Sessions run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday from 12pm to 2pm. Members are welcome to as many workouts throughout the month as they can make it to!
